Daily nutrient supplementation within the realm of complementary and integrative medicine refers to taking vitamins, minerals, herbs, fatty acid, probiotics, and other dietary supplements alongside conventional medical treatments to proactively promote health and wellness, often addressing specific nutritional deficiencies or supporting overall bodily functions, while considering a holistic approach to healthcare that integrates mind, body, and spirit. Integrative medicine aims to combine conventional medicine with complementary practices like nutritional supplementation to address the whole person and their unique health needs, not just symptoms. The complementary practices (Yoga, meditation, Massage therapy, Acupuncture, Biofield Energy, Rekey, Mindfulness, Spiritual practice, etc.) that can be integrated alongside supplementation for the health and wellness.
