Author Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit to this journal. An editor will assess all submissions to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.
Before submitting, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included in the submission, such as photos, documents, and datasets. All authors on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee following the legal requirements of the study's country. Please confirm the type of your manuscript. You can refer to the Article Type page for information on the types of manuscripts accepted by the journal.
We recommend using the Microsoft Word template to prepare the manuscript. If the manuscript is submitted using the free format, please be sure to use a consistent format throughout and include all required parts of the manuscript. Please refer to the Manuscript Preparation for information on your manuscript's writing style and structure.
An editor may reject a submission if it does not meet minimum quality standards. Before submitting, please ensure the study design and research argument are properly structured and articulated. The title should be concise, and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements:
- This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- Please include complete author and institution information in the manuscript.
- All tables and figures have been numbered, labeled, and inserted at the end of the first occurrence paragraph. If a graphical abstract is prepared for the manuscript, please upload it as a single file and refrain from inserting it into the text.
- Equations in the manuscript should be prepared by equation editors, e.g., Microsoft Equation Editor built in Word, instead of inserted pictures or pieced text.
- All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
- Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other material this submission provides.
