We sincerely welcome Prof. Dr. Amin Taheri-Garavand from Lorestan University, Khorramabad, Iran, to join the Editorial Board of Recent Progress in Sciences. Dr. Amin Taheri-Garavand received his M.Sc. (2010) and Ph.D. (2015) in Mechanical Engineering of Biosystems from University of Tehran (Iran). He was a visiting researcher at University of Naples Federico II (Italy) in 2014-2015. He is currently working as an Associate Professor and Chair of the Mechanical Engineering of Biosystems Department at Lorestan University (Iran). His research interests include computational intelligence, deep learning CNN and machine vision in food and agriculture.
